Promoting Welsh Produce at Borough Market, London!
Recently, we were delighted to be involved with promoting Welsh food and drink at the famous Borough Market in London.
The event, which took place 1st – 3rd August 2018 in the Market Hall area of Borough Market, coincided with Welsh Lamb Day, which falls on the 1st August annually.
We joined Welsh Lamb producers and an exciting array of Welsh food producers (including Halen Mon Sea Salt and Aberfalls Gin) to bring Welsh food to the international market, which is famous throughout the world for it’s street food offerings and local, handmade produce. Over the three days we were able to talk to customers about the benefits of buying and supporting Welsh produce, meet award-winning chefs and talk to them about our award-winning produce, and promote Welsh produce to consumers from around the world. We were even visited by Pembrokeshire MP Stephen Crabb, who popped along to show his support for the Welsh food industry, whilst at the event.
Funded by the Welsh Government to promote Welsh produce to the rest of the world, we were privileged to be involved and look forward to being involved in future events in the future too – a complete success!
