Puffin Produce Supports Pembrokeshire YFC Rally
Puffin Produce, Wales’s largest producer of fresh vegetables, is supporting this year’s Pembrokeshire Young Farmers Club 77th Annual County Rally.
The County Rally will be held on Saturday 3rd July 2021 at the Pembrokeshire County Showground, by kind permission of the Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society.
The Rally was unable to take place last year due to COVID-19, and this year’s Rally will be taking place in accordance with COVID-19 regulations to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
The Young Farmer’s Club is a rural Youth Organisation, for anyone aged 10 to 28. The Clubs organise their own programme of events and meetings for the year, with plenty of activities including sports, crafts and skills development, as well as competitions and club evenings for their members.
Pembrokeshire YFC have 12 clubs across the county and the support from Puffin Produce will enable Pembrokeshire YFC to hold a competition day for their members, the first since last November.
Speaking about the sponsorship from Puffin Produce, County Chairman, Miss Tania Hancock said,
“We are incredibly grateful to Puffin Produce for supporting this year’s Pembrokeshire YFC Rally. Their contribution will help offer many opportunities to our members across the County, after what has been a very difficult 15 months.”
The Rally is the highlight of the calendar year, and offers fantastic opportunities for their members to develop new skills through learning and training for competitions, and it’s also a great opportunity to engage with and meet other YFC members from across the County.
